Treviso, auf Venezianisch Trevixo [tre'vizo], ist Hauptstadt und Verwaltungssitz der gleichnamigen Provinz in der Region Venetien. Die Stadt hat 85.760 Einwohner und liegt etwa 40 Kilometer nordöstlich von Padua und etwa 30 Kilometer nördlich von Venedig.
Treviso liegt am Zusammenfluss von Botteniga und Sile in der venezianischen Ebene. Die durchschnittliche Höhe beträgt etwa 15 m s.l.m.
