Geesteren ist ein Dorf und eine ehemalige Gemeinde im Achterhoek, Provinz Gelderland. 1795 wurde Geesteren zu einer Municipalität, die 1798 als Gemeinde fortgeführt wurde. Am 1. Januar 1818 wurde es der ehemaligen Gemeinde Borculo angegliedert, die zum 1. Januar 2005 in die neu gebildete Gemeinde Berkelland eingegangen ist.
