Maasvlakte 2 ist die Bezeichnung für das Erweiterungsprojekt des Rotterdamer Hafens, das westlich der Maasvlakte liegt. Mit diesem neuen, im Meer angelegten Gebiet von 2.000 Hektar wurde der Hafen um 20% größer. Nach Abschluss der Erweiterung umfasst der Rotterdamer Hafen insgesamt 12.000 Hektar. Am 1. September 2008 begann nach Jahren der Planungen, Diskussionen und Proteste der Bau. Am 22. Mai 2013 wurde die Zweite Maasvlakte offiziell in Betrieb genommen.
