Die Straßenbahn Den Haag ist eines der großen europäischen Straßenbahnnetze. Die Betreibergesellschaft ist die Haagsche Tramweg-Maatschappij , die außerdem ein großes Stadtbusnetz betreibt.
Das Netz ist regelspurig, die Fahrleitungsspannung beträgt 600 Volt. Fast alle Endstationen sind mit Wendestellen ausgerüstet, so dass der Großteil des Netzes mit Einrichtungsfahrzeugen befahren werden kann. Ausnahmen sind Leidsenhage , Loosduinen und Nootdoorp Centrum , die nur mit Zweirichtungsfahrzeugen bedient werden können .
