Die Kirche der Jungfrau Maria ist der eigentliche Name dieser Kirche in Lienden. Die Pfarrei von Lienden wurde am Ende des 11. Jahrhunderts gegründet. Der erste reformierte Pfarrer kam 1582. Das heutige Kirchengebäude stammt wie der Turm aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Im Chor der Kirche befinden sich Wandmalereien aus der gleichen Zeit. Die letzte Restaurierung stammt von etwa 1980. Gegenüber der Kirche steht auf dem gleichen Platz das ehemalige Pfarrhaus, ein wunderschönes weiß verputztes Bauernhaus.
