Der 53W53 ist ein im Bau befindlicher Super-Wolkenkratzer in New York City, Stadtteil Manhattan. Das von Jean Nouvel geplante, spitz zulaufende Gebäude ist 320 Meter hoch und hat 82 Etagen. Damit ist er knapp höher als das Chrysler Building .
Im Herbst 2009 wurde der Bau des Gebäudes genehmigt. Ursprünglich sollte das Gebäude 381 Meter hoch werden, genau so hoch wie das Empire State Building. Das Bauwerk wurde zwischen der 52. und 53. West Street errichtet und soll etwa 941 Millionen Euro kosten.
Anfang Januar 2013 wurden DOB Dokumente eingereicht, die einen sofortigen Bau des Turms ermöglichen. Am 29. Oktober 2013 wurde bekannt, dass die Finanzierung des Turms gesichert ist. Der Bau des Turms begann im Februar 2015, im August 2018 wurde die finale Höhe erreicht.
