Reynosa ist eine Grenzstadt im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Tamaulipas. Sie hat rund 600.000 Einwohner und liegt am Rio Grande nahe der texanischen Stadt McAllen. Reynosa, Verwaltungssitz des Municipio Reynosa, ist mit McAllen durch zwei Brücken verbunden.
Reynosa ist die größte und industriell bedeutendste Stadt in Tamaulipas. Insbesondere viele Maquiladoras finden sich in Reynosa und Umgebung. Die dort verarbeiteten Waren werden international gehandelt, aber vor allem in die USA reexportiert. In der traditionell bedeutenden Landwirtschaft der Region sind die wichtigsten Erzeugnisse Baumwolle, Zuckerrohr und Obst.
