The Riffelseehütte is a mountain hut of the Alpine Club section Frankfurt am Main of the German Alpine Club, located in the Ötztal Alps in Tyrol, Austria. The Riffelseehütte is situated in the upper Pitztal on the western side at an altitude of 2289 m above sea level, above the Rifflsee in the eponymous ski area. The owner indicates an elevation of 2293 m above sea level, which should correspond to the height of the terrace from which a beautiful view can be enjoyed. The view mainly looks into the Taschachtal, which branches off here, at the end of which lies the Taschachhaus; the tongue of the glacier feeding the brook has since receded to the point where it can only be guessed at.
