You cycle to Voglau and then it goes uphill to Grubach. There is no descent because you are climbing to the Trattberg: a dead end that offers you beautiful views. The road there is a toll road (free of charge for cyclists) and that means there is not much traffic on the road.
You cycle past the highest point of the Trattberg to a mountain hut a little further (where you can eat and drink). Then you turn back and from the highest point you descend 5 km. Then you now take a different route than from where you came and almost continuously descend through Sankt Koloman into the Salzach valley (to the town of Golling on the Salzach). Almost, because during the descent you sometimes go through river valleys where you need to descend multiple times. From Golling you follow the federal road through the Lammertal, there is a bike path along and this path follows this bike path. Sections of the bike path consist of gravel strips that can be easily ridden with a racing bike. Those who are not keen on gravel strips must follow the (heavily trafficked) federal road.
