This house is a very ornamental example. The architect is a Brusseleer, Symons. The house was built in 1921, based on an older design. Although there are some references to the cottage style, we cannot possibly speak of a pure cottage here.
'La Josette', as the house is called, has more to it than that. For example, the frames of the doors and windows, the oval windows on the first floor, and the design of the pseudo-timber framing of the bay window point to Art Nouveau.
Since 2001, this townhouse has been included on the list of protected monuments.
