Castle Te Lake is located in a 3-hectare park and is a moated castle in classical style. It was built in 1748
by Jeroom–Olivier Limnander, heir to a noble lineage. The castle was later also used as a horse breeding farm and event hall. After several years of decay, it has been recently renovated and now serves as a venue for parties and events.
Behind Castle Te Lake, you will find the beautiful nature walk Leiemeersen. This loop trail of 2.5 km starts at the "Maïskot", Oeselgemstraat 55, 9870 Zulte and runs, among other things, along an old arm of the Leie.
So sturdy shoes are recommended.
