Beautiful park in Schilde 'Schildehof' (De Pont).
The Schildehof in Schilde is an ancient castle estate with a turbulent history and many successive owners. Only the foundations of the castle remain. In the former vegetable garden of the castle, the Dodoen Garden has now been reconstructed. In this garden with its Renaissance elements, the herbs mentioned are present. On the other side lies the Bee Garden, a flower and insect garden where different pollination techniques are presented. At the back of the park, you can walk around the Heempark De Pont.
