Liedekerke has a strong foundation for art, and you can really see that literally on its ground. For more than 45 years, the municipal Academy for Visual and Audiovisual Arts (ABAK) has been active in Liedekerke. Since 2017, the LikART project has been showcasing local art. Over the years, many artistic interventions have appeared on the territory. The new art walk route LikART Light of 11 km takes you past all these colorful locations. And during the period from May 8 to August 31, 2021, you can also catch about ten extra temporary interventions, created by different class groups from the ABAK, along the route. Along the route, you will also find several QR codes behind which a short theater intermezzo hides, in collaboration with the Academy of Music, Word, and Dance and the local theater associations.
