Deilingen is located in the northernmost tip of the Tuttlingen district in a high valley at the southwestern edge of the Swabian Jura on the Großer Heuberg, directly at the Albtrauf. The municipal area extends over an elevation of 790 to 1009 m above sea level. The wide high valley is flanked by the mountain ridges of Montschenloch and Ortenberg in the north, and in the south by the mountain massif of Oberhohenberg with Hochberg. The municipality is part of the tourism region of the 10 Thousanders.
