The Ulm Zoo is a zoological facility in the city of Ulm. It was founded in 1935, closed in 1944, and reopened in 1966.
As the basis for the small zoo founded in 1935 in Friedrichsau, a monkey enclosure built in a shed in 1927 and aviaries for pheasants and other birds were used. At the opening, the aquarium building, aviaries, a deer moat, and a bear enclosure were completed. Amid the turmoil of World War II, the park was closed in 1944.
