Neuendorf, in older literature often referred to as Neuendorf near Potsdam, was a place in today's urban area of Potsdam. In 1907, it was incorporated into Nowawes and is now part of the Babelsberg district of Potsdam. However, the original village center is still clearly recognizable in the urban landscape. Neuendorf near Potsdam belonged in 1375 together with Potsdam to the small noble lordship of Schloss Beuthen.
Today, Neuendorf is completely located within the urban area of Potsdam and belongs to the Babelsberg district. The original village center, a round village, is still clearly visible in the street layout. However, the name of the former village has only been preserved in the street name Neuendorfer Anger.
