The village heritage house Elte is a former Heuer house of the Hof Willer-Eßmann in the farming community of Heine. Probably built around the middle of the 18th century using old timber as a Heuerlingshaus, it is the last remaining Heuer house of our village.
The Elte heritage association acquired it in 1982 and restored it over four years to its original condition of the 19th century in the center of the village of Elte.
Filled with new vitality of village community and cultural life, it is meant to help shape the past, present, and future of the village.
Bakehouse
A former bakehouse of the Hof Lampe in the farming community of Heine stands right next to the village heritage house. Built around 1850, it was acquired by the Elte heritage association in 1984 and restored in its original form.
Craftsmanship-wise, it is a simple but well-proportioned former agricultural utility building in its original condition. The bakehouse is a monument of the village of Elte.
