SamBa Tour 2

Starting point for the approx. 25 kilometer long tour is once again the Bardowicker Dom, built between 1389 and 1485. From there, the path leads towards Holländer-Mühle, through idyllic fields and meadows, passing through Neu Wittorf to Handorf. Here you will find another Dutch mill that can be visited from the outside. It is also worth taking a detour to the Handorf Church. The path continues towards Barum, via a short - but easily passable - gravel road. Next, the route goes through the Barumer district of Horburg along the Neetze to the Barumer See, which invites you to take a bathing break with its extensive sandy beaches and beautiful location. During a tour around the lake, you will cross an idyllic wooden bridge and be led back into the village. From there, you will drive to the St. Dionys district, a heath village consisting of many well-preserved half-timbered houses. The romantic village also offers an 18-hole golf course. Passing the weekend house area on St. Dionyser Weg, you will then cross the old drawbridge back to Bardowick.
