This route can be bumpy from time to time. Part of the route is unpaved. There is little chance that you will see many cars along this route. This tour allows you to rediscover nature. If you like water, this route is perfect for you. The Grundelbach River will obey your every word. Definitely stop at St. Laurentius. If you like to pause or "linger": take a moment at the church (Evangelische Stadtkirche). If you enjoy castles and their history: stop at the castle (Schloss Birkenau). There is little to add to this excellent route.
