Description by the author

The seventh stage of the Camino del Cid runs through mountainous areas, constantly above 1000m. The first part has some steep climbs, followed by a long descent to Cobeta. In the village there is a bar and there is a castle tower just above (easily accessible via stairs). After a descent to the Tagus Valley, here an insignificant stream, you have to climb a few kilometers heavily. This is followed by a long descent to Molina de Aragón, a beautiful medieval town with many monuments and a 12th century castle.
