Uzech is a French municipality with 216 inhabitants in the Lot department in the Occitanie region. It belongs to the Gourdon arrondissement and the Quercy-Bouriane community association. The residents are called Uzéchais.
The municipality is located in the cultural landscape of Quercy, approximately halfway between the towns of Cahors and Gourdon, southwest of the Central Massif. Neighboring municipalities include Peyrilles to the north, Gigouzac to the east, Laval-de-Cère to the east, Saint-Denis-Catus to the south, Catus to the southwest, and Thédirac to the west. The municipality of Uzech includes the localities of Richard, Laprade, Tounis, Le Banaudi, Roques, Moulès, and Monges.
A two-kilometer-long tunnel of the railway line from Orléans to Montauban runs through the municipality of Uzech.
