In the Valléé de Gavarnie, we encounter this bridge. It turns out to be a bridge built on the orders of Napoleon, which is why it has also been named after him: Pont Napoleon. The road from Luz-Saint-Sauveur crosses the river via this bridge, which flows below in the depths between the steep walls of the gorge. The view of the gorge is impressive.
