Description by the author

Gérardmer and Longemer are two charming villages situated on lakes of the same name in the Vosges. This route starts in Gérardmer. You first walk to the lake and then to the center. In Gérardmer you take a climb to get a beautiful panoramic view of the town and more. After this you step through the woods to Longemer and the lake of the same name. Returning takes place along the banks of the Vologne. Parking is provided in Gérardmer, the total length of the route is 16 km.
