The Relaxation Hall is a monumental building on the Staverden estate in the Gelderland municipality of Ermelo. The building is located near a dirt road, the Allee, which leads to Staverden Castle.
The relaxation room on the Staverden estate was originally a barracks that served for the reception of Belgian soldiers who fled during the First World War in the internment camp in Harderwijk. In 1921 Herman Theodoor s'Jacob, son of the former mayor of Rotterdam Frederik Bernard s'Jacob and owner of the Staverden estate, bought the barracks and had it transformed into a relaxation room on the estate.
