Maashorst

The walking route starts at walking junction 53 at the corner of Maashorstweg and Slabroekseweg and Erenakkerstraat. You follow Maashorstweg towards walking junction 52. Along quiet roads, you pass through the hamlet of Bus to the hamlet of Loo. You will then continually walk through the Maashorst Nature Reserve. After the Schaijksche Heide, you pass several burial mounds at Slabroekse Heide. After that, you walk past the Maashorst Nature Center in the hamlet of Slabroek. Finally, you walk through the beautiful heathland of the Slabroekse Bergen and the varied forests of the Maashorst back to the parking lot of the Maashorst Nature Center. Food and drinks are only available near the start and finish and after about 7 kilometers. (35% paved – 65% unpaved)

Some unpaved paths may be marshy.
