Zuidlaren is always pleasantly lively. Perhaps this is because Zuidlaren not only has the largest but also one of the oldest horse markets in Western Europe. And this brings more than just horses into motion.
The walking route takes you past beautiful houses that were often built by wealthy Groningers, and a part of the hiking forest.
