Forest Park Bakel

The walk, starting and ending at the Sint Wilbertsplein in Bakel, goes from here towards the Bospark Bakel. This park is located on the Bakel Estate. Among other things, the (former) Jan de Wit Clinic and nursing home Sint Jozefheil are situated here. The walk starts from the square, where you can also visit the silent chapel of the Willibrorduskerk, goes over the guild path and leads over the public road to the forest park. In the forest park, the walk continues on paved walking paths. The route is completely wheelchair accessible. The park has several recreational facilities such as an animal park, gnome forest, pond, and a butterfly garden.
Parking is available at the Sint Wilbertsplein. Along the route, there are several benches to rest and enjoy the surroundings. At the endpoint, various dining options are available for a snack and a drink.
