Description by the author

Dronningstien is the beloved walk of the Queen of Norway Queen Sonja. This area in Norway is famous for apple growing. And you will definitely see those orchards. Definitely try an apple juice and the cider of the region.

The hike goes from Kinsarvik to Lofthus in Hardanger. You can take the shuttle bus back or drive to the parking lot in Vetleplassen to start your hike. The shuttle bus runs daily in high season (check shuttlebushardanger.com ). You can also walk in the opposite direction and start in Lofthus.

The hike is approximately 6 hours.
