La isla de Tabarca, de Nueva Tabarca o Plana,[1] oficialmente Isla Plana o Nueva Tabarca , es una isla del mar Mediterráneo que se encuentra a unos 22 kilómetros de la ciudad española de Alicante, a unos 8 km del puerto de Santa Pola y a poco más de 4300 metros del cabo de Santa Pola.[2] Se trata de la isla más grande de la Comunidad Valenciana y la única habitada.[3] Administrativamente está considerada como partida rural de Alicante,[2] y en ella se halla la ciudad[4][5][6] de Tabarca, que contaba con 51 habitantes en 2019.[7]
