Continuar a través del fascinante mundo montañoso: Desde la Johannishütte se dirige hacia el sendero de altura Kreuzspitz, al principio atravesando prados verdes y más tarde un terreno rocoso. En esta área también se podría hacer una excursión a la "Kreuzspitze", con su impresionante vista del Großvenediger. La magnífica línea del recorrido y las fantásticas vistas de las montañas glaciares vecinas recompensan el largo ascenso. Sin embargo, el Adlerweg continúa hacia la Nueva Sajathütte, el "castillo en las montañas". La meta de la etapa, la cómoda Eisseehütte, sin embargo, aún está a una buena distancia.
