La Suikerkaai se encuentra al sur del centro y la estación de Halle. Se puede llegar a la Suikerkaai a través de la cercana Bergensesteenweg (N6) y N28. Además, la estación está a una distancia a pie (600 m). Esto permite una "conexión" con el transporte público (autobús, tren).
Este lugar es el "punto de llegada" en Halle para los barcos de Rivertours. También es importante mencionar que se trata de cruceros especiales: tales paseos en barco solo tienen lugar en fechas específicas. Un ejemplo de esto es la excursión a Ronquières.
En la zona también se encuentra el nudo ciclista 65, que es el punto de partida de nuestra ruta hacia Ruisbroek.
