La fuente de agua mineral se conoce desde tiempos inmemoriales como Source du Bois Notre-Dame o Source des Dames.
Alexandre Matton organizó la explotación comercial del manantial de agua mineral natural de Arville, propiedad del conde de Liedekerke desde 1911.
En 1920 se creó el jarabe de granadina, "Boum" . En 1926 se crearon la “ Arville granadina ” y el “ Arville limón ”. Al final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial pasó a manos de la cervecería “Impérial”. “Arvilor” una naranjada , “Ma pomme” (en referencia a la canción de Maurice Chevalier), “Peppermint” completan la oferta.
El lema comercial era " Para mantenerse joven y sutil, beba agua de Arville " (Po d'mêrer djonne è sutil, bêvoz d'êwe d'Arville).
La empresa "Arville Mineral Sources" fue adquirida por un grupo cervecero en los años 60 y posteriormente perdió su producto local tradicional. En 1971 la empresa 'Arville Mineral Sources' cerró sus puertas.
