El Sendero del Castor
Visita el Koningshofke y la Casita de Carpas junto al arroyo Rupelmondse. Este se formó hace 300 años tras una devastadora rotura de dique. Desde entonces, el área se ha convertido en un valioso y excepcional bosque de alisos aluviales con aliso negro, fresno, lirio amarillo y lúpulo como plantas características de esta zona con un nivel de agua más alto, surcada por diques y terraplenes. Algunas partes de la zona son más antiguas de 200 años y por esa razón son excepcionales y están protegidas a nivel europeo. Además, estos bosques de difícil acceso albergan mamíferos raros como ciervos, castores, nutrias y peces raros como el pez de barro y el pez dorado, así como el martinete como pescador. El arroyo Rupelmondse es claro de agua y rico en peces, y por esa razón es visitado regularmente por el águila pescadora.
