El ganado Galloway se parece al bisonte ... de ahí el título...

Fácil aparcamiento en la entrada del parque natural en el puente sobre la E403.

esta ruta cruza Doeveren y Merkemveld. A pesar de la limitada superficie de este espacio natural (44ha), no deja de ser un bonito paseo donde se visita un mismo punto desde diferentes direcciones . Inicialmente en su mayoría bosque , en la última parte hay más pastos pantanosos abiertos donde pasta el ganado Galloway. Oportunidad suficiente para relajarse en un sofá.

El paseo señalizado "Doeveren" es más corto (5,7 km) pero permite explorar la misma zona de forma más corta.
