Bienvenido en la hermosa y variada área Most-Keiheuvel, una zona de 540 hectáreas a lo largo de la parte superior del Gran Nete en el municipio de Balen. Lo notable de esta área es la combinación de dos núcleos naturales totalmente diferentes que se conectan sin problemas. El Most es un área de valle extremadamente húmeda, mientras que la Keiheuvel, situada a mayor altura, se caracteriza por secas dunas de tierra abierta. El proyecto Life+ Most-Keiheuvel llevó a cabo grandes trabajos de restauración de la naturaleza. Los resultados se pueden ver en algunos lugares de esta caminata.
