En la variada ruta de aproximadamente 12 km, se va de Steina a través de la zona boscosa de Luchsenburg, pasando por diferentes columnas históricas, canteras y pequeños lagos hacia el Schwedenstein. En el camino se pueden disfrutar de numerosas vistas, como por ejemplo al Ohorner Berg, al Schwedenstein, al Keulenberg y, por supuesto, hacia Steina. El sendero está marcado de manera continua con una línea amarilla.
