El plátano más antiguo de Europa se encuentra un poco apartado en Herzogenrath. Un camino sin salida, ya que el puente sobre el río Worm se ha venido abajo, es el acceso a este lugar especial.
Desde Kerkrade, un paseo circular por el hermoso valle de Worm en un frío día de invierno con mucha escarcha en los prados, árboles y plantas. Un espectáculo impresionantemente bello.
