Serón es un municipio español de la provincia de Almería, Andalucía. En el año 2017 contaba con 2080 habitantes. Su extensión superficial es de 167 km² y tiene una densidad de 14,5 hab/km². Sus coordenadas geográficas son 37º 20' N, 2º 30' O. Se encuentra situada a una altitud de 822 metros. El municipio lo comprenden Serón -capital municipal-, Los Raspajos, El Valle, Angosto de Abajo, Angosto de Arriba, Los Pérez, Los Vegas, Los Zoilos, Fuencaliente y Calera, Los Donatos, La Estación, Los Fernández, Jaucas Altas y Las Menas.[1]
