Pinto es una localidad y municipio español perteneciente a la Comunidad de Madrid, situado a unos 20 km al sur de la capital del país. Su población alcanza los 50 442 habitantes .Antiguamente se pensaba que Pinto se encontraba situado en el centro geográfico de la península ibérica; de ahí su nombre, que proviene del latín punctum, 'punto'. Actualmente tiene instalado un monolito en el parque del Egido de la Fuente en el que relata una leyenda e identifica a Pinto como centro geográfico de la península ibérica.
