Desde el área recreativa se inicia el ramal a la laguna de La Posadilla con una longitud de 2,7 km. El Camino continúa bordeando la población de Valverde y gira hacia la izquierda por una calle asfaltada flanqueada por una hilera de fresnos (Fraxinus sp.) y tilos en su margen izquierda, junto a numerosas parcelas con pequeños huertos. Pasadas las huertas, el Camino continúa con firme de tierra en muy buen estado, que discurre junto a la ruta de Don Quijote.
