El valle de Barétous, en los Pirineos bearneses, ofrece varias zonas de escalada
Durante todo el año, se puede acceder a las rutas del Pont du Fort y de Liorry en la zona de La Mouline, a la salida del pueblo de Arette en dirección a la Pierre Saint-Martin. Justo antes de este punto, en el puente de Hourat, esta zona también es accesible durante todo el año.
La Pierre Saint Martin también ofrece muchos puntos de escalada libre, con varios niveles de dificultad: 4 sectores, y 75 rutas, de 3b a 6c.
En el pueblo de Issor, las zonas de Pibot du Bas y Pibot du Haut están cerradas temporalmente del 1 de marzo al 15 de septiembre.
