Rivington es una aldea y parroquia civil del Borough de Chorley, Lancashire, Inglaterra, que ocupa 2,538 acres. Se encuentra a unas 6 millas al sureste de Chorley y a unas 8+1⁄2 millas al noroeste de Bolton. Rivington es un área rural que consiste principalmente en tierras de pastoreo agrícolas, tierras de páramo, con cumbres montañosas que incluyen Rivington Pike y Winter Hill dentro de los West Pennine Moors.
