Monumento a uno de los hijos más ilustres de Barga, Antonio Mordini (1819-1902), quien fue uno de los artífices de la unificación italiana y un político astuto y destacado. (la estatua fue restaurada en 2011)
En su tiempo fue Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores y luego Ministro de la Guerra en el Gobierno Provisional de Florencia (1849), representante de Garibaldi en Sicilia, Prefecto de Nápoles y finalmente Ministro de Obras Públicas (1867) en el Gobierno del Reino de Italia.
El monumento que se le dedica es obra de Raffaello Romanelli de Florencia, y el epígrafe escrito por Giovanni Pascoli dice:
SENADOR, CATORCE VECES DIPUTADO E INCLUSO DICTADOR POR GARIBALDI.
