La Iglesia de San Vito debe su nombre al antiguo barrio de San Vito y a la calle donde se encuentra (vía San Vituzzo).
Ya existía en 1492 y, según el historiador Ignacio de Blasi de Alcamo, fue fundado por un miembro de la Hermandad de la Annunziata, con un hospital para enfermos pobres al lado. Fue restaurado por primera vez en 1922. No hay nada antiguo en su interior y hoy es utilizado por cristianos ortodoxos.
