Schieren es un municipio en el cantón luxemburgués de Diekirch.
El municipio tiene una superficie total de 10,41 km2 y contaba con 1466 habitantes el 1 de enero de 2007.
En excavaciones arqueológicas en el centro de Schieren se han encontrado restos de una villa romana más grande. Más tarde, en la Edad Media, surgieron dos aldeas: Bovenschieren y Nederschieren, bajo la autoridad de Larochette. En el siglo XIX, Schieren era un importante centro comercial.
El actual municipio de Schieren se formó el 1 de julio de 1851 como una escisión del municipio de Ettelbruck. Sin embargo, recientemente ha habido discusiones políticas para fusionarse nuevamente con Ettelbruck y algunos otros municipios.
