El Wester-Schouwen o faro de Wester es un faro conocido en Burgh-Haamstede. La torre fue diseñada por Leendert Valk y construida entre 1837 y 1840. Con sus 50 metros de altura y un altura de luz de 58 metros sobre el nivel del mar, la torre es uno de los faros más altos de los Países Bajos. La base de la torre está formada por muros de aproximadamente 2,5 metros de grosor, que se vuelven más delgados hacia la parte superior. Una escalera de 226 peldaños, hecha de parte de piedra y parte de hierro, conduce a la cima. En 1983 se instaló un pequeño ascensor en el hueco de la torre. Este faro no está habitado desde 1990, desde entonces la imagen del radar se envía a la estación de la Guardia Costera en Westhoofd. El faro no está accesible al público desde 1978.
