En Luttenberg hay una réplica de la gruta del lugar francés de Lourdes. La construcción de la gruta en Luttenberg se debe al sacerdote Petrus Butzelaar. Este sacerdote decidió, cuando el Papa Pío X abolió el Día de la Sagrada Comunión como festividad católica a principios de este siglo, mantener esta tradición con una procesión a través del pueblo. Para dar más solemnidad a la procesión, en 1915 se construyó la gruta de Lourdes a lo largo del camino. La pared de la gruta fue levantada con malla, piedra y cemento, con una hornacina para la imagen de la Virgen María con el rosario. Hasta 1962, las procesiones en Luttenberg se llevaron a cabo, con la gruta de Lourdes como el clímax literal y figurado al final de la procesión!
