La batalla de La Esclusa, también llamada batalla de Sluys, fue un combate naval librado el 24 de junio de 1340 entre Inglaterra y Francia. Tuvo lugar en la rada del puerto de La Esclusa, en una entrada desde entonces llena de sedimentos entre Zelanda y Flandes Occidental. La flota inglesa de 120-150 barcos fue dirigida por Eduardo III de Inglaterra y la flota francesa de 230 efectivos por el caballero bretón Hugues Quiéret, almirante de Francia, y Nicolas Béhuchet, condestable de Francia. La batalla fue uno de los compromisos iniciales de la guerra de los Cien Años.
