La casa de vacaciones de la Antigua Estación de Bomberos para seis personas se encuentra a las afueras del pueblo de Mechelen, en el sur de Limburgo. La casa de vacaciones debe su nombre al hecho de que formaba parte de la antigua estación de bomberos.
En 2009, la estación de bomberos fue transformada en cinco viviendas cómodas. A principios de 2008, Arno y Marloes, junto con sus hijos, buscaron un lugar donde vivir en el sur de Limburgo. A finales de 2010, el proyecto se completó y la familia vivió allí con mucho gusto durante siete años.
