Con motivo del centenario de Heveadorp (en 2016) se organizó una caminata a lo largo de lugares históricos en este antiguo pueblo fabril. Alguna vez hubo aquí una granja modelo. Más tarde se estableció aquí la fábrica de caucho Hevea, que le da su nombre al pueblo. En los años 80, la fábrica fue demolida y se construyeron viviendas en y alrededor de la antigua zona fabril.
